These MTP camo windproof smocks were introducted in 2010 as an ‘urgent operational requirement’ uniquely designed for British forces deployed in the greener areas of Afghanistan.
Identical in design to the standard ‘soldier 95’ hooded windproof smocks, but made in the new MoD licenced MTP camo pattern.
Features include chunky front zip with storm flap, velcro adjustable cuffs and wire fronted storm hood.
Four large button closure front cargo pockets, plus zip accessible chest pocket ideal for carrying maps, paperwork etc.
This MTP version also features velcro panels on the upper shoulders to add TRF flashes or unit identification badges as desired.
New unissued condition, this style of smock will soon become rare and collectable as only made in MTP for a short time as a stop-gap
